Following their gritty win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed cornerbacks Jaylon Jones and Alijah Huzzie to their 53-man roster. To make room for them, they placed safety Caleb Ransaw on the Injured Reserve list and waived Christian Braswell.
Given that the Jags are dealing with injuries at corner, there was a chance that Huzzie and Jones could make their debut against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. But based on their final injury report, only Huzzie may be able to suit up for the London game.
The Jaguars have ruled out newcomer vs. the Eagles in Week 5
The Jaguars posted their final injury report for the London game. Newcomer Jaylon Jones is their only player who won't suit up against the league. He signed with Jacksonville a couple days after the 22-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It's possible that Jones may not have fully recovered from an injury he suffered during the offseason during his stint with the Chicago Bears.

The only other Jaguar who got a designation for Week 5 aside from Jones is safety Eric Murray, who remains in concussion protocol. He was a limited participant in the days preceding the game, so there's a chance he will end up playing against Philadelphia.
But if Murray ultimately misses the game, sophomore Rayuan Lane III will probably get the starting nod. Either way, rookie Jalen Huskey will make his NFL debut. He's been inactive the past four games.
The Eagles, for their part, ruled out running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring), wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), center Drew Kendall (knee), safety Marcus Epps (groin), and wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle). Aside from those five, Philadelphia listed edge rusher Jonathan Greenard as questionable.
The silver lining is that wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks is good to go after being a limited participant in practice. This means Jalen Hurts won't be fully devoid of weapons. On the other hand, it's worth noting that Philly just traded Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens days ahead of the game. And without Kendall being a no-go, 2025 undrafted rookie Jake Majors will get the starting nod at center.
Similarly, the Eagles are down to third-string running back Will Shipley after Tank Bigsby landed on the Injured Reserve.

The Jaguars can't overlook the Eagles in spite of their injuries on offense
There's no doubt that the Jaguars have a favorable matchup. They're currently a 7.5-point favorite. That just goes on to show how dominant Jacksonville is expected to be. That said, it won't matter if the Eagles are without five or 10 starters if the Jags don't show up and execute.
Just before the game, head coach Liam Coen stated that the Jags would be taking the wrong approach if they were paying attention to the Eagles and not themselves. He's right. His team only needs to focus on putting enough points on the scoreboard to ensure that the outcome of the game is decided by the fourth quarter.
And if the Jaguars do what they've been doing most of the season (with the exception of the second half of the Denver Broncos game), they should have no trouble earning their fourth win of the season.
