Days ahead of their Week 5 matchup in London, the Jacksonville Jaguars placed sophomore safety Caleb Ransaw on the Injured Reserve list. However, they could also be without safety Eric Murray, who left the gritty 22-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals with a concussion.
Murray is currently in the concussion protocol and was the only rostered Jaguar who didn't suit up for practice Wednesday before the team flies to London. And in light of the grizzled veteran's absence, rookie Jalen Huskey is quickly getting the spotlight.
The Jaguars include Eric Murray on the Week 5 injury report
The Jaguars posted their first injury report for Week 5. Eric Murray, to nobody's surprise, popped up as a non-participant. Given the tricky question of concussions, it's hard to tell whether the former Minnesota Golden Gopher will suit up against Philadelphia.
Running back LeQuint Allen Jr. (hip), cornerback Jarrian Jones (knee), offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen (knee), cornerback Jarian Jones (foot), and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (thumb) were limited in practice Wednesday, but they've popped up on the injury report the past few weeks and still play, so their availability against the Eagles isn't in question.

Josh Hines-Allen (groin), cornerback Jaylon Jones (hamstring), cornerback Jourdan Lewis (hamstring), and right tackle Anton Harrison also got the limited designation, but their health will be worth monitoring. Ditto, cornerback Montaric Brown, who missed the Bengals win with a hamstring injury and was also a limited participant Wednesday.
Similarly, rookie defensive tackle Albert Regis (elbow) remains limited, and it's uncertain if he'll play in Week 5 after missing the past two games.
Either way, Jacksonville is mostly healthy, while the Eagles are dealing with several injuries to key players. On top of that, offensive lineman Lane Johnson just announced his retirement, and center/offensive guard Cam Jurgens was just traded to the Baltimore Ravens. The Philadelphia offensive line will undergo substantial changes ahead of the London matchup.

The Jaguars will give Jalen Huskey a role regardless of whether Eric Murray plays
Whether Eric Murray plays in Week 5, Jalen Huskey will get to make his NFL debut. A third-round pick in this year's draft, the safety rookie has been inactive the first four games of the season. But with Caleb Ransaw now on IR, he'll surely get to take the field against the Eagles.
If Murray suits up, though, Huskey will be the No. 4 safety on the depth chart, behind Murray, Antonio Johnson, and Rayuan Lane III. But if Murray is unavailable, Huskey will be the primary backup behind Lane and Johnson. Either way, the former Maryland Terrapin will have a role.
Heading into the London game, head coach Liam Coen stated that he liked the physicality and aggressiveness Huskey showed in joint practices with the NFC South teams in the preseason.
Against the Eagles, Jalen Huskey will get a chance to show said physicality and his ballhawk skills.
