RB Dalvin Cook would give the Jacksonville Jaguars an explosive weapon.

This one was a tough choice, especially because Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson had an outstanding rookie campaign, hauling in 88 receptions for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns. However, if the Jaguars were to acquire Davante Adams in this NFC North dream scenario, it wouldn’t make sense to add another wideout. That’s why Vikes running back Dalvin Cook made the cut, and he is no consolation prize. In fact, he would give the Jags’ offense a significant boost.

The 2017 second-round pick racked up just 207 carries for 969 yards and four touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons. However, he broke out in 2019 and put behind any injury red flags, totting the rock 562 yards for 2,692 yards with 29 trips to the end zone over the last two years. If that wasn’t enough, he has also caught 97 receptions for 880 yards and one touchdown. Cook is currently one of the best running backs in the NFL and arguably only second to Derrick Henry.

The Jaguars have a young running back tandem in James Robinson and rookie Travis Etienne. The former totalled 1,414 scrimmage yards in 2200 — the most by an undrafted rookie in league history — while the latter has the potential to become a dual-threat in Jacksonville. Nevertheless, Cook is currently a better player than both Robinson and Etienne. The two-time Pro Bowl nod has carried the load for the Vikings and he could do the same in Jacksonville.
