The Jacksonville Jaguars wouldn’t mind trading for Khalil Mack.

Who wouldn’t want to have Khalil Mack, one of the best three defensive players in the NFL, on their team? Who else besides the Las Vegas Raiders, who traded the three-time All-Pro nod to the Chicago Bears for two first-round selections back in 2018? The Jaguars would surely welcome him with open arms and would even pay him a top contract if that meant acquiring his services. Whether Mack plays with his hand on the ground or standing up, he’s got a penchant for creating disruption at the line of scrimmage.

Coincidentally, the Raiders drafted the Buffalo product fifth overall in 2014, two spots after the Jags took *checks notes* Blake Bortles. That’s right, this Jacksonville believed they had picked their quarterback of the future while missing out on a dominant EDGE rusher. Imagine the impact Mack would’ve made in Duval. Do you remember the season when the Jaguars made it all the way to the AFC Championship on the strength of their defense? The unit would’ve been unstoppable with Mack on it.

You could argue that Mack might not have become the player he is if the Jags had drafted him the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year has had success anywhere he’s gone. Since changing teams in 2018, he’s logged 106 tackles, 29 tackles for a loss, 14 forced fumbles, 30 touchdowns, and two interceptions. The only thing Mack has been missing over the last three seasons is a quarterback.

The Bears just drafted Justin Fields but the Jags also have a pretty good signal-caller in Trevor Lawrence. If you could play with either one, who would you choose?
