Jaguars schedule 2024: game-by-game predictions for upcoming season

The NFL was going to tentatively release their schedule for the 2024 season on May 9 but chose to instead announce it on the 15th. After days of waiting anxiously, the Jacksonville Jaguars, along with the other 31 teams, finally know how their calendar looks.

The Jags already knew their opponent but knowing when and where they'll face it is equally important. After all, they have a much better chance of beating the Buffalo Bills early in the season when the weather isn't that bad. Similarly, clubs can start planning practices and how hard they'll be based on their BYE week.

Jaguars @ Dolphins Week 1, season opener

Like the Dolphins, the Jaguars have a talented quarterback behind center but have yet get over the hump the past two seasons. For the opener, these two Florida teams will face off. Jacksonville will showcase all the weapons they acquire in the offseason and leave Miami with their first win of the season.

Jaguars vs. Browns Week 2

Last year, the Jaguars had a prime opportunity. They were going against a rusty Joe Flacco when they faced the Cleveland Browns but failed to take care of business. Flacco went on to garner consideration for Comeback Player of the Year and Jacksonville came crashing down to end the season. Flacco is now a backup at Indianapolis, but Deshaun Watson is back behind center after dealing with injuries for most of 2023. This should be the year he finally shows the Browns were right to trade a fortune for him.
