The Jacksonville Jaguars left the 2023 NFL Draft with 13 new players. However, they must've felt like they still had room for a few more, so they signed some more after its conclusion.

While some of the players the Jags drafted might not make the cut for the regular season, there are others that are currently on shaky grounds and may need to walk the plank in the upcoming months. In particular, these five players were put on notice following the draft.

No. 5 Jacksonville Jaguars player that was put on notice: Tim Jones, WR

The Jaguars have one of the best (if not the best) wide receiver starting trio in the NFL. With Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones, and Christian Kirk leading the way, opposing defenses might have a hard time stopping Jacksonville from reaching the end zone in 2023.

Having said that, the depth behind the starting trio of Ridley, Jones, and Kirk is a bit suspect. Jamal Agnew has been effective when called upon in the past but the coaching staff might feel tempted to limit his offensive snaps to increase his effectiveness on special teams. No. 4 on the depth chart is Tim Jones.

Although Jones showed out in the preseason last year, he wasn't much of a factor once the regular season started, hauling in a total of three receptions for 30 yards. It's true that the Jags were stacked at wide receiver last year but Jones would have gotten playing time regardless if the coaching staff had had more confidence in him.

The Jags picked Parker Washington (Penn State) in Round 6 and later signed Jaray Jenkins (LSU) Oliver Martin (Nebraska), and Elijah Brooks (San Jose State). They will all face an uphill battle to make the team but Jones will also have to fend them all off to stay in Jacksonville in 2023.
