The Jacksonville Jaguars are becoming a very good team in the National Football League. They have everything going for them after coming back from 2-6 to win the AFC South.

With a good quarterback in the mix to go with a solid coach and good front office (we think), things are turning in the right direction.

Of every team in the AFC South, the Jaguars have the best chance of winning the division and making a run in the playoffs.

It is fun to think about just how good this team can be this year. These are three fresh predictions for the Jaguars ahead of the 2023 season:

1. Trevor Lawrence will be an MVP candidate

Trevor Lawrence will be as good as any quarterback in the NFL this year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Trevor Lawrence with the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. When they did that, they believed that they were getting a player that could develop into a superstar NFL quarterback.

The results speak for themselves. He wasn't very good in year one with the system that they had going on but things changed in year two once they gave him a good coach.

Now, he is ready to show everyone that he is an elite player that has the ability to change games whenever he wants. He could easily be one of the best quarterbacks in the world if he isn't considered that already.

In 2023, Lawrence will be an MVP candidate. If he leads the Jaguars to a division-winning season once again, chances are that he will be seen as one of the most impactful players in the entire NFL. Winning that first MVP may have to wait a few years but he will be in the mix this year.
