The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to be a good team in 2023. They should be the winners of the AFC South this year with relative ease.

There are a lot of reasons for this prediction. General Manager Trent Baalke has put a lot of hard work into this roster and it will pay off soon.

Each position is very important in football. Without everyone on the team coming together and playing well, there is not a great chance that you will win.

Of all the positions on a football field, the Jaguars have a few that are stronger than others. These are the three strongest positions on the roster right now:

1. Quarterback

Trevor Lawrence is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL.

It doesn't really matter who the backup or third string is on any given team. Your starting quarterback is (almost always) going to determine your chances of succeeding.

As for the Jaguars, that guy is Trevor Lawrence. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League and he is just entering his third year in the league.

Of course, there is a long way to go but the former Clemson superstar can become an all-time great if he keeps up with his current trajectory.

Now, entering the 2023 season, Lawrence should have plenty of greatness around him to take that next step. Again, it won't be easy but it is something that makes for a fair goal.

Lawrence was great in 2022. The fact that it was just his second season should be scary for the rest of the league. His first season (his rookie year) with Urban Meyer shouldn't be held against him either because it was so bad there. This is, in a lot of ways, his true second season.
