2. An easy winnable remaining schedule

The Jaguars have a relatively light schedule as the season wraps up. The final three games they are scheduled to play are against teams struggling to maintain consistency, which opens up an opportunity for the Jaguars to capitalize on.

The Panthers, Bucs, and Titans — the last three teams on the Jaguars' schedule — have a combined record of 14-28. Only the Buccaneers have a shot at the playoffs. The Titans and Panthers have been eliminated already. The Jaguars will be +3 point favorites in all three games and should end the season with an 11-6 record.

Eleven wins exceed all odds and preseason predictions by Jaguar's analysts; besides myself, I said 14-3. If you had told Jaguars fans at the end of the 2020 season, when the Jaguars secured the first of back-to-back No.1 overall draft picks as the NFL worst team, the Jaguars would have a 24 yes-old franchise quarterback, an 11-6 record, 2 AFC South Championships and a playoff win going into the 2023 playoffs, none of them would've believed you.

A lighter schedule towards the end of the season allows the team to regroup, strategize, and prepare without the added pressure of facing top-tier opponents. The favorable and winnable schedule enables the team to strengthen their weak points and hone their strategies.
