2. Jaguars RB Travis Etienne will explode vs. the Titans in Week 14

Running back Travis Etienne has had a couple of rough weeks. He got hurt against Baltimore and had to leave the contest early. He was able to suit up against the Lions in Week 13 but the Jaguars couldn’t get the running game going.

Etienne is partly responsible for that though. He lost a fumble on the second play of the game, which led to Detroit’s first touchdown of the game. Then again, a closer look shows that the had a pretty strong grasp of the ball, and there’s not much else he could’ve done differently to avoid the turnover.

In the end, Etienne had 13 carries for 54 yards on a day in which the Jaguars had to abandon the run and pass heavily to have a chance at keeping up with the Lions. But he will bounce back against the stout Titans run defense and go over 100 yards and a score.

1. The Jaguars will keep Derrick Henry under 100 yards in Week 14

Derrick Henry has had plenty of success playing against the Jaguars throughout his career, racking up 213 carries for 1,1143 yards with 14 touchdowns. Regardless of who’s running the defense, Jacksonville hasn’t been able to slow the King down.

The Jags had success stopping the run early in the season but have struggled in recent weeks. Defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell’s scheme and execution have played a role. Henry presents a tough challenge in Week 14 but he will find a way to slow him down.
