No. 4 The Jaguars front seven will have 3 sacks vs. the Titans

The Jags’ defense had a strong start to the season but they’ve struggled to stop both the pass and the run in recent weeks. While players have certainly failed to execute, the coaching staff, more specifically, Mike Caldwell, must be held accountable.

Caldwell himself told the media Wednesday that there’s talent on the roster, so he needs to get to most of the personnel he currently has. Outside linebacker Josh Allen has previously proven he can play at an elite level but he hasn’t done so often in 2022. Similarly, rookie Travon Walker has been a non-factor and needs to turn the corner as soon as possible.

Third-year defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton has arguably been the best player up front. Against the Ravens, he forced a fumble that changed the momentum of the game. Expect Hamilton, Walker, and Allen to all register sacks against the Titans.

No. 3 Christian Kirk will tally100 receiving yards and 2 TDs in Week 14

Wide receiver Christian Kirk has become one of the most important pieces on the Jaguars’ offense and arguably general manager Trent Baalke’s best free-agent acquisition. The former Texas A&M Auggie has amassed 62 receptions for 829 yards with seven touchdowns this season.

Kirk is on pace to be the first Jaguars receiver to reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark since DJ Chark Jr. last did it in 2019. Although he excels in the slot, offensive coordinator Press Taylor likes to move him around to look for potential mismatches and should find some favorable matchups against the Titans’ secondary, which will in turn lead to a productive day.

100 receiving yards and two touchdowns seem feasible when you take into account that Kirk is going against a Tennessee defense that ranks 31st in the league against the pass.
