No. 4 Cardinals free agent Jaguars can sign – Christian Kirk, WR.

The Jaguars need to revamp their offensive line this offseason but you could argue that wide receiver is a more pressing need. If the Cincinnati Bengals taught us something this year is that having a number one receiver can go a long way towards propelling your offense, even if your quarterback doesn’t have optimal protection up front. That’s why Jacksonville’s front office has to make sure Trevor Lawrence has as many weapons as possible at his disposal.

Signing Davante Adams would be a coup for the Jags but the Green Bay Packers will most likely apply the franchise tag on him. Allen Robinson would be an enticing option in free agency but it’s unknown if he would be interested in returning to Jacksonville. If the Jaguars still want to sign a wide receiver, Christian Kirk would be a solid option.

A second-round selection by the Cardinals in 2018, Kirk has appeared in 56 games with 41 starts and hauled in 236 for 2,902 yards with 17 touchdowns over the last four years. He wouldn’t be a number one receiver in Jacksonville but he would definitely give the Jags’ offense a boost. The Texans A&M product played in the slot on more than 77 percent of Arizona’s offensive snaps last year, and that’s the position where’s the most productive.

As long as the Jaguars have a plan in mind for Kirk and don’t have him line up in the perimeter, he could be a pretty productive player. As Pro Football Focus noted, he’s a better fit in the slot, and his production a hit when he lines up outside.
