Here are 3 studs from the Jaguars’ Week 14 loss to the Titans.

Just like last week, it’s difficult to find studs when you lose 20-0. Nevertheless, there are a few Jaguars’ players that had good individual performances, and acknowledging they played well in spite of the team’s struggles is the right thing to do.

1. Shaquill Griffin, cornerback.

Shaquill Griffin has been one of the Jaguars’ most consistent and best defensive players this season and he played well in his return from a two-week absence. Although he gave up a 16-yard reception to wide receiver Julio Jones, he did a good job of covering him for most of the game and posted a 71.6 Pro Football Focus grade.

Moreover, Griffin was one of the defenders defensive coordinator Joe Cullen deployed in blitz packages and was credited with one pressure.

2. Dawaune Smoot, outside linebacker

Dawuane Smoot had one of his best performances this season, logging five total pressures, one sack, and three quarterback hits. Even though the Jags’ allowed 20 points, they often pressured Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, and Smoot led the effort.

3. Laquon Treadwell, wide receiver.

For the second consecutive week, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell makes the list. His collision with Laviska Shenault Jr. probably overshadows the fact that the 2016 first-round pick hauled in four receptions for 68 yards. Furthermore, he was responsible for one of the few highlights of the game when Trevor Lawrence connected with him for a 41-yard completion.
