Imagine Derrick Henry running the ball for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Tennesse Titans have been getting national headlines ever since rumors arose about them landing Julio Jones. In the end, it wasn’t just noise and indeed acquired the All-Pro wide receiver from the Atlanta Falcons.

The Titans have made the playoffs in back-to-back years and have had one of the best offenses in the NFL the last two years. Even though Jones would’ve given the Jaguars’ wide receiver corps a boost, trading for him came with a hefty price tag, so it’s a good thing they stayed put. The seven-time Pro Bowl nod, along with A.J. Brown, will form one of the best wide receiver duos in the league.

Nevertheless, the Jags also have a pretty good wide receiver unit themselves. DJ Chark Jr., Marvin Jones Jr., and Laviska Shenault Jr. are nothing to scoff at. They also have a couple of dynamic running backs in James Robinson and Travis Etienne. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence should be able to take advantage of all the offensive weapons he will have at his disposal, so what Titans player is worth claiming?

As talented as Robinson and Etienne are, think about how much better the Jaguars’ rushing attack would be with Derrick Henry. The King has established himself as the best running back in the NFL. His smash-mouth style of football is no longer widespread nowadays but Tennessee’s offense has still benefited from it.

Despite the fact that Henry wasn’t used much in his first two years in the league, he’s racked up 896 carries for 4,626 yards for 45 touchdowns over the last three seasons. Moreover, he’s averaged 5.2 per carry. The Titans running back could take some pressure off Lawrence’s shoulders and help him get acclimated to the pros. Hey, it doesn’t cost to dream.
