Chicago’s skill players could give the Jacksonville Jaguars a headache.

David Montogomery was good but not great during his rookie season. Originally a third-round selection in 2019’s draft, the Iowa State standout racked up 242 carries for 899 yards and six touchdowns as part of the team’s running back committee. Although his numbers don’t look half bad at first sight, keep in mind he averaged a paltry 3.7 yards per carry.

However, Montgomery’s yard-per-carry average is up to 4.5 in 2020, and has run the ball 202 carries and 906 yards. He has a solid chance to cross the 1,000-yard rushing barrier with two games left in the season.

3. player. 57. . . . Allen Robinson, wide receiver

Jaguars fans should be familiar with wide receiver Allen Robinson. After all, this Jacksonville used a second-round pick in 2014’s draft to take the Penn State standout. Back in 2015, Robinson caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. For a year, it looked like he was going to be part of the team’s long-term future.

However, the ‘Jags’ opted not to re-sign Robinson and he moved to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’. In his three year tenure with the Bears, the wide receiver has hauled in 243 receptions for 3,011 yards and 17 touchdowns. He’s in the last year of his contract and is set to become a free agent after the 2020 season, so he’s got an incentive to finish the year strong.
