Malcolm Butler, cornerback. 4. player. 35. . .

Malcolm Butler has been a staple of the Titans’ secondary since he signed a five-year $61 million contract. In his three-year tenure in Tennessee, the cornerback has been consistent and has registered 82 total tackles, 54 assists, 32 passes defensed, and seven interceptions.

This season, Butler has played on 96 percent of the team’s total snaps on defense and has allowed 54 receptions on 82 targets and a 65.9 completion percentage. Even though that number looks a bit high, the Titans’ lack of pass rush has affected the performance of their secondary, so you have to take that into consideration when evaluating their overall production.

3. player. 35. . . . Harold Landry, linebacker

The Titans’ defense has struggled as a whole in 2020, but they have had some solid individual performances. Harold Landry doesn’t stand out when you watch Tennessee play, but he’s been solid in 2020. Moreover, he leads the team with 4.5 sacks.

The third-year linebacker dressed up for all 12 games this season and has registered 37 solo tackles, 14 assists, and five passes defensed. He’s played on 94.13 percent of the team’s total snaps on defense and has a 6.5 Pro Football Focus grade.
