879. . . . Derion Kendrick, Clemson. 2. player

The Jacksonville Jaguars could target these two in the second round.

Derion Kendrick hasn’t declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, but when/if he does, the Jaguars could use their second first-round pick on him. The Clemson cornerback was named second-team All-ACC in 2019 even though he just started playing the position last season.

Kendrick joined the Tigers as a five-star recruit but head coach Dabo Swinney asked to change positions once injuries started to pile up. He is athletic, versatile, and tough, basically, the kind of player this Jacksonville could draft to play opposite C.J. Henderson.

1. player. 804. . . . Asante Samuel Jr, Florida State

If the Jaguars decide to use their second first-round pick at another position, they could target Asante Samuel Jr. with their first second-round pick, which is currently projected to be the 34th selection. The Florida State state cornerback announced his decision to declare for the draft not too long ago.

All in all, Samuel recorded 71 solo tackles, 26 assists, 24 pass deflections, four interceptions, and one forced fumble in three years with the Seminoles. He’s quite polished and has experience playing in both the slot and outside.
