804. . . . Marvin Wilson, defensive tackle. 4. player

These two prospects can bolster the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defensive line.

The Jaguars have a couple of solid defensive tackles, and both of them are rookies. They picked DaVon Hamilton in the third round of this year’s selection process and added Doug Costin as an undrafted free agent in the offseason. Both have displayed flashes of playmaking prowess, but if the team opts to bolster the position, they could look at Florida State’s Marvin Wilson.

Wilson is out for the season after undergoing leg surgery, but before the injury, he showed the physical tools and the athletic ability to thrive in the NFL. He needs to get healthy and upgrade his move repertoire, but that’s something he still has time for.

3. player. 889. . . . Carlos Basham Jr, edge defender

This Jacksonville team needs help pressuring the quarterback. Josh Allen is the only effective edge defender on the roster and he hasn’t been himself due to injuries. They drafted K’Lavon Chaisson in 2019 to wreak havoc at the line of scrimmage, but that hasn’t happened yet, and he hasn’t given any indications he can be that player.

The ‘Jags’ shouldn’t wait too long before adding another edge defender and Carlos Basham Jr. is an option. The Wake Forest edge defender has registered 20 total tackles, five sacks, and four forced fumbles in six games this season. Even if Chaisson ends up improving, the team can’t have too many pass rushers.
