Robert Saleh

Robert Saleh was the linebackers coach in Jacksonville before moving over to the San Francisco 49ers as the team’s defensive coordinator. He is one of the hot names out there to receive interest in a head coaching position. The 49ers got the Super Bowl with his defense, which was one of the best in the NFL last year.

The Jaguars approach to a defensive-minded leader may change things for the team’s current coordinator Todd Wash. It also might mean a new game plan will take more advantage of Josh Allen and his skill set for the future.

I liked Saleh as a potential candidate last year if Khan made sweeping changes. Saleh will be a hot commodity once again if the 49ers are a Super Bowl contender in 2020. It’s only a matter of time before he is offered a chance to run his own coaching staff in the NFL.
