Maurice Jones-Drew, Running Back

What would a backfield of Leonard Fournette and Maurice Jones-Drew look like? The Jaguars second-leading rusher of all-time could bowl over a few defenders in his day, which is a lot like the punishing style of Fournette, who can run through a pile, up the middle of break outside to hit paydirt.

While Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor were a powerful combination in their time together here in Jacksonville, this combination might be just as abusive.

Given the fact that Fournette became a more accomplished pass-catcher last season and you could have two 1,000-yard tailbacks who catch 50 passes each.

Jones-Drew, a second-round pick out of UCLA, always played with a chip on his shoulder and was the NFL leading rusher in 2011 with 1,606 yards on the ground. He played for some bad Jaguars teams but always managed to find a hole to get through.

The Jaguars scored just three touchdowns in 2019 while running the football. Jones-Drew would change that scenario at the goal line.
