Jay Gruden

This one could be interesting. Jay Gruden is one of those guys who is better at being a position coach or a coordinator than a head coach. He is also a guy who would take full advantage of using Minshew’s ability in the passing game.

The match between the former Bengals and Redskins head coach and the Jaguars may look like the most natural fit. He would also use the tight end more in the passing game, which is something his predecessor wanted to do, but injuries prevented that.

It’s also something to think about, but Tyler Eifert is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent. While his career has been injury-filled, would the Jaguars consider signing him this offseason as a low-risk, high-reward player should Gruden come onboard?
