Jason Garrett

This is something that was first talked about by Hays Carlyon of 1010XL.com and could get some attention. If Jason Garrett is added to the Jaguars coaching staff as the offensive coordinator, would that mean he could supplant Marrone as head coach if a change is made in-season or in 2021?

I hope not.

As the head coach in Dallas from part of 2010 and then through last season, Garrett compiled an 87-70 record. He has also had Tony Romo and Dak Prescott to work with over his career, which is similar in a contrast of styles like Foles and Minshew.

He has also had Ezekiel Elliott in his backfield. There are plenty of similarities to draw from, but Dallas had better overall talent.

Still, I do think the Jaguars kick the tires on this possibility.
