Mike Kafka

I’m just throwing this out there, but if the Jaguars want to put some more horsepower in its offense, then it might be a good idea to look at the teams remaining in the NFL playoffs to find their next coordinator.

That’s where Mike Kafka comes in. The current quarterbacks coach in Kansas City has had a hand in developing Patrick Mahomes the past two seasons. That alone is worth a look by Marrone and the front office.

Kafka was actually on the Jaguars roster at one point in 2013 as a practice squad player.
Kafka has been on the Chiefs’ staff the past two seasons but should be considered a coach of interest for the future. He is young at 32 years old, but that appears to be a trend in the NFL these days.

He may be the fourth candidate on my list, but he may also be the one that could take this offense and run with it in 2020.
