James O’Shaughnessy and Ben Koyack
There is no doubt in my mind Austin Seferian-Jenkins will be everything this team thought he would be as a free agent addition to the roster. The question is who is the second option at the position?
I was high on O’Shaughnessy from the start of OTAs and still think he can be a nice option on short yardage plays, much like Pete Mitchell was used in the Jaguars’ offense when Tom Coughlin was the head coach. Koyack is a player who is rarely used in the passing game but can surprise you with a catch now and then – like in the AFC Wild Card game against Buffalo.
If I had to rank the players now, I would say O’Shaughnessy is the second option with Koyack third – but that all could change in training camp.
