A.J .Cann
Cann was able to practice with the team at the end of OTAs and during minicamp. This too is Cann’s last season of his rookie deal. He is at a position – right guard – that is considered the weakest on the Jaguars’ offensive line.
How Cann does in training camp will determine if he keeps his starting job or will he find a spot as a reserve, which all but eliminates any chance of him earning another deal with the Jaguars.
Offensive line coach Pat Flaherty said the right guard spot would “work itself out.” He had high praise for Cann during the offseason program. The offensive line got better in free agency with the signing of Andrew Norwell. If Cann has his best season as a Jaguar, this could be a top 10 offensive line in 2018.
