3. Davon House

This Pictures sums up Davon House’s performance against the Houston Texans.  The Jacksonville Jaguars’ strategy going into the game against Houston was to let Davon House play man on man coverage against DeAndre Hopkins.  They probably shouldn’t try that again, Hopkins absolutely torched Davon House, he caught 10 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. Due to House’s poor performance against the Texans, the Jaguars decided to bench him against the Bills. That move didn’t work to well either, Dwayne Gratz struggled to contain Robert Woods and he gave up a huge touchdown in the second half of last weeks game.

I think the Jaguars have no choice but to start Davon House, he is clearly a better option than Dwayne Gratz and he is the highest paid player in the Jaguars secondary. House signed a four year 25 million dollar deal in the offseason and he has really struggled to live up to that contract. However, I do think House has shown flashes of his ability and he has made some solid plays this year but if the Jaguars want to win the AFC south this season, then Davon House will need to improve quickly.
