The Jaguars offensive line has had their fair amount of struggles this season, they have allowed the eight most sacks in the NFL and if it wasn’t for Bortles’ ability to make plays with his feet then they would have probably given up a lot more. One of the biggest issues on the Jaguars offensive line is the play of Left Guard Zane Beadles. With how poorly Beadles has been playing, he is lucky to still be in the starting lineup and if it wasn’t for an injury to starting Right Guard Brandon Linder then Beadles would have probably been replaced by A.J. Cann.

Since signing a five year 30 million dollar contract with the Jaguars in 2014, Beadles has failed to live up to his potential. Beadles was a key piece to the success of the offensive line in Denver but since coming to Jacksonville, he has struggle to find his groove.

After their bye week the Jaguars will enter a crucial part of their season, they actually have a chance to win the AFC South because of how terrible it is this year. Despite his poor play, Zane Beadles will almost certainly remain the starting Left Guard because that is the best option that the Jaguars have at that position. If the Jaguars want to win the AFC South and make their first playoff appearance since 2007 then Zane Beadles will need to step up significantly.
