The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off their five straight win in a row. At 10-4, they're in the driver's seat to clinch a playoff berth as soon as Week 16. But don't tell talking Richard Sherman, who's grown a disdain for the Jags and their fans.

Sure, the Jags struggled to win games in previous years, and Trevor Lawrence left a bit to be desired early in the season. However, Sherman has gone out of his way to criticize them, and it looks like their 48-30 win over the New York Jets just broke him.

Richard Sherman was feuding with Jaguars fans after the win vs. the NY Jets

Trevor Lawrence had an all-time performance against the Jets, becoming the first player in league history to throw for five touchdowns, run for another, and log over 50 rushing yards. This led Twitter user @twited_tee_ to point out that "Sherman was nowhere to be seen. The former All-Pro cornerback caught wind of the Tweet, and his response was something else.

"Lmao Jacksonville fans I stopped watching them weeks ago," Sherman said. "When I have to watch them is the next time I will catch a Jags game. So sending highlights against a defense that doesn't have an INT on the season doesn't move me."

In a different thread, Sherman made it clear that Jags fans pushed him to dislike the team.

"The fans have pushed me to dislike them. Really have no care either way about most teams, but when fans are obnoxious, that changes things," Sherman said.

This is in line with Sherman's thoughts on Lawrence's play early in the season. Following the loss to the Los Angeles Rams, he stated that it was "mind-boggling" that the Jaguars quarterback makes almost $11 million per year more than Matthew Stafford.

Again, the former Clemson Tiger wasn't playing his best football at that point in the season, but Sherman has developed a disdain for him dating back to past years. But wait, there's more.

It seems like Sherman wasn't enthused when the subject of Lawrence and Jacksonville came up on his podcast. You be the judge.

Richard Sherman cannot accept that Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are any good

The issue with Richard Sherman is that he has been biased with his pointed criticism of the Jags. Had he stayed neutral and made tough but fair points, he would have gotten a bit of pushback, but most fans might ultimately have agreed. Again, the problem is that it felt like he was bashing Jacksonville instead of giving a fair assessment.

Moreover, it wasn't until the Jags had their BYE that Trevor Lawrence truly took off. If you had said that he was struggling early in the season, most fans would have agreed. Heck, some even went as far as saying that he wasn't the answer behind the quarterback. While that seems like an overreaction at the time, No. 16 definitely deserved some of the flak.

That said, Trevor Lawrence has hit his stride and is a big reason the Jaguars have won 10 games for the first time since 2017. But instead of conceding that they've exceeded expectations, Richard Sherman chose to antagonize fans and lost.
