Sometimes, the most random things can go viral on the internet. You could be filming yourself doing the most mundane thing and suddenly become an online celebrity. Just recently, someone posted a picture of a truck on Twitter. A commenter pointed out that it looked like former Jacksonville Jaguars former running back Maurice Jones-Drew and it's become the talk of the town.

In case you were wondering what kind of vehicle would get compared to Maurice Jones-Drew, look no further. The resemblance is undeniable. Like Pocket Hercules, the truck has a strong lower build.

Jones-Drew caught wind of the picture, and got a good laugh out of it.

The Jaguars' social media team also found out the picture and came up with a pretty funny meme.

Days before the truck went viral, the former UCLA standout was trending on social media because the NFL official account uploaded a video with the caption, Who else remembers when NFL Network's Maurice Jones-Drew was one of the best RBs in the league?

A second-round pick in the 2005 draft, Jones-Drew began his career sharing the load with Fred Taylor in a backfield committee. Once Taylor left in 2009, he became one of the most productive running backs in the NFL, toting the rock 954 times for 4,321 yards with 28 touchdowns during a three-year span.

Injuries would eventually slow Jones-Drew down. He left Jacksonville in 2014 and played one season with the Oakland Raiders before calling it quits. For his career, the Jaguars running back tallied 1,847 carries for 8,167 yards with 68 touchdowns. He also caught 346 passes for 2,944 yards with 11 touchdowns.

Ex Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew doesn't get nearly enough respect

All things considered, Jones-Drew was one of the best players on the Jaguars in the late 2000s. Unfortunately, because they weren't winning a lot, many of his accomplishments have flown under the radar. His 2011 season, in particular, showed how talented he was. That year, he amassed 1,606 yards and eight touchdowns on 343 carries.

Looking back, Jones-Drew was somewhat of a steal if you take into account that in the second half of the 2000s, the front office wasn't great at identifying talent in the draft. The fact that the offense revolved around him because the Jags didn't have many talented players makes his feats even more impressive.

In the end, the truck going viral on Twitter was a good opportunity to remind everyone how overlooked Jones-Drew was during his heyday. Hopefully, fans who didn't get to see him play will get to appreciate how good he was.
