OTAs are going for the Jacksonville Jaguars. A lot of the players showed up this year and that is great news for a team trying to compete for a title in the upcoming year.

One player that deserves some attention is Travon Walker. He was the first overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2022 NFL Draft. He is a very good defensive end that came out of the University of Georgia.

Here in 2023, he is hoping to break out and become a superstar in this league. With some of the players being added around him, it is certainly a possibility.

This is the type of player that could be a game-changer for the Jacksonville Jaguars for a reason. He came out of one of the elite schools when it comes to defense and he went number one for a reason.

Travon Walker is going to be an impact player for the Jaguars in 2023.

The Jaguars had an outstanding offense in 2022. If their defense matches that at some point in 2023, especially in the playoffs, we could be talking about them as a Super Bowl contender.

They might be that already at this point. If Walker can be a stud on the defense, it will be even more apparent. We know the talent is there for him to be an impact guy so it is on him to go out there and do it.

Along with a guy like Josh Allen, he needs to show why he was a top-ten pick on defense. Trevor Lawrence is keeping his end of the bargain so the rest of the elite players need to do so as well. Travon Walker will certainly do that.

There shouldn't be any personal numbers or achievements on anyone's mind. The goal is to win. If they do that, the extras will come along with it for sure.

2023 is going to be the year of the Jaguars and this guy, perhaps more than anyone outside of the quarterback, has a chance to be the player that makes it possible.

Again, there should be expectations on him to be great and he should believe in himself at all times. Clearly, the coach, his coordinators, the front office, and the fans all believe in him.
