The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team still looking to improve their chances. They are a team that can win the Super Bowl if everything breaks well for them.

The biggest key to them having a good season will be their defense. We know how much Trevor Lawrence and the offense are going to carry things for the most part so the defense just needs to be good enough.

They have some studs on defense that we know can be even better. They didn't make any splashes on that side of the ball this off-season but they are still going to be improved.

One way to improve would be to add Chicago Bears pass rusher Trevis Gipson. According to a report, he has requested a trade away from Chicago.

The Jacksonville Jaguars would love to trade for Trevis Gipson.

Gipson is probably in need of a scenery change. He is a good player that had a down year in 2022 on a horrifically bad team. The year before, he was really good with some talent around him.

The Jaguars are in a win-now mode and they could absolutely consider something like this. If Gipson came to Jacksonville, there is a good chance that he would return to the form that made him good in 2021.

He has a high ceiling in this league and the Jaguars might be the perfect place for him to unlock it. That would obviously be cool to see.

Yes, it may be difficult for him to come to a new team with the preseason already in the rearview mirror but he is talented and smart enough to adjust.

During this 2023 preseason, Gipson has played very well for the Chicago Bears and that includes this Saturday against the Buffalo Bills (who Jacksonville will play in London).

There are going to be a lot of teams interested in adding a player like that but the Jaguars should certainly check in on him. If he is willing, they should do it.
