The Jacksonville Jaguars have one final preseason game ahead of them. They are going to finish off against the Miami Dolphins so they don't have to travel very far at all.

The two Florida AFC teams have high hopes for this season and this is the final chance for them to get exhibition football in before the regular season starts.

Doug Pederson mentioned playing starters for a large portion of the game. He should absolutely do that.

Obviously, you don't want the big boys playing the whole game when it doesn't count but they need to be ready for the season opener.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have high hopes for this final preseason tilt.

The Jaguars have played mostly well during the preseason. That includes starters, backups, and third-stringers.

This is going to be a really good season if everything goes according to plan. Having around two quarters worth of play from the starters should give everyone a glimpse into that.

So what could we be looking forward to in this preseason game with starters playing? Well, for the defense, we can see how they match up against Tua Tagovailoa's offense.

The Dolphins, as mentioned before, do plan on competing in a very good AFC East Division. Their offense is going to be an x-factor for them in that quest. If the Jaguars can play well against them here, it will be a good sign.

Of course, the offense is the big thing for the Jaguars right now. With Trevor Lawrence leading the way, they have high hopes for the amount of points that they can score.

His arsenal of weapons is loaded and he should be able to take advantage. If they play starters for a large portion of this game, we could get a glimpse of that.

The preseason has nothing on the regular season in terms of entertainment value but this game should be very interesting for Jaguars fans as it will be the closest thing they'll have to a regular season dress rehearsal.
