The Simpsons have been a staple of pop culture since their inception in the late 1980s. They've become famous for their humor and their penchant for foreseeing future events. Just recently, they shared one prediction involving the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In one of the newest Simpson episodes, the Jags are beating the Buffalo Bills 25-0. If this were the AFC Championship, the win would propel Jacksonville to their first Super Bowl.

Throughout their history, many situations the Simpsons have portrayed have become reality. Things such as the Fox/Disney merger, FaceTime, Donald Trump's presidency, and Siegfried & Roy being attacked by a tamed Tiger.

When asked about it, Simpsons writers have said that they're just making educated guesses, and many of the things they come up with are bound to happen.

For their part, the Jaguars have never been to the Super Bowl but they've reached the AFC Championship three times in their history. The first two took place during the Tom Coughlin era, and the most recent one came in 2017 when they lost to the New England Patriots.

The Jaguars will eventually win a Super Bowl

As the Simpsons writers noted, there are things that are bound to happen at one point or another. In this case, there are a handful of teams, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have never won a Super Bowl but they'll eventually get one. After all, the game will go on for as long as it can. The NFL is one of the most successful leagues in the world and there are no signs it will end anytime soon. That will give the Jaguars plenty of opportunities to raise the Lombardi Trophy.

In the foreseeable future, though, the Jaguars will need to clear a few hurdles to make it to the championship game. First, they must keep loading up on talent in the 2024 NFL Draft to challenge the Houston Texans for the AFC South crown. They had an encouraging free agency but their division foes also made several big acquisitions.

But even if the Jags reclaim the AFC South title next season, that will be just the start. While they've managed to beat the Buffalo Bills both times they've faced them since 2021, they haven't had much luck against the Kansas City Chiefs, going 0-3 against them the past two years.

Granted, the Chiefs are the defending champions and most teams struggle to keep up with them, but Jacksonville will need to beat them if they want to get over the hump. Working in their favor is that Trevor Lawrence is feeling 100 percent after dealing with a myriad of injuries last year.

If the Jaguars can protect Trevor Lawrence, and give him a WR1 in the NFL Draft, there's a chance the Simpsons prediction may come true as early as next season.
