Jaguars Draft: 3 first round picks that would change the franchise forever

3. Lukas Van Ness

Lukas Van Ness is a player that the Jacksonville Jaguars should consider.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could certainly use some help on defense. They had a bottom third defense in 2022 but the offense carried them. 

Some improvements can come from the 2023 NFL Draft, especially in the early rounds where players are more likely to become impact guys. 

One player for them to consider is Lukas Van Ness. Van Ness is a defensive lineman/edge rusher that comes from Iowa. He is someone that might be able to create some chaos on the defense for Jacksonville. 

If he is on the board at pick 24, they should really consider him. He is the type of player that can be built around on defense, especially since the Jaguars do have a few players they like on that side of the ball. 

There are other great edge rushers that are going in the first round but it is fair to believe that the Jaguars won’t have a chance at them. Lukas Van Ness might be there though and he is awesome.
