The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't been themselves over the first few weeks of the season. They won the first game of the season which was nice but they then lost two straight. It was one thing to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs but the loss to the Houston Texans in week 3 is what worried people.

They knew they needed to end the skid this week if their season was going to be as good as expected coming in. They made their way to London (and Andy's room) to take on the Atlanta Falcons who are a very good opponent.

Thankfully, the Jags got out to a great start in this game and they ended up winning it by a final score of 23-7. They did just what they needed to do in order to get back to .500 (2-2). Jacksonville is used to playing in London as this was their tenth time playing there and it showed in this one.

The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled out a big win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Everyone on the Jaguars did their job. That is usually always the case when a football team wins. However, these three players stood out above the rest:

1. Trevor Lawrence

Everything with the Jacksonville Jaguars starts and ends with Trevor Lawrence. They needed a lot from him this week as they can't win unless he is amazing. With the supporting cast in place, there is a lot expected of him.

It is clear that he still has another gear that he can get to but he was good in this game. He went 23/30 for 207 yards and a touchdown. He did not throw a pick. These aren't the most gaudy statistics but it is what they needed in order to win the game. Trevor is a stud.

2. Josh Allen

The Jaguars are going to face quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills next week (also in London). However, their Josh Allen on defense had an amazing game this week. He recorded four tackles which is nice but he also had three sacks on the day.

No other Jaguars player had more than one. He clearly led the way when it came to bringing pressure all game long. It was a big reason that the defense also had two interceptions because he was making things very difficult in the trenches. He should be very happy with this game.

3. Calvin Ridley

The Jacksonville Jaguars needed Calvin Ridley to come through for them in this game. He has been okay through the first few weeks but they always needed more. Suiting up against his old team in London needed to motivate him and it did.

He only had two receptions in the game but they went for 38 yards which is decent. Ony of those receptions was also a touchdown which is great to see. He did end up coming up big against his old team which was awesome to watch. They still need to target him more but this was a good start. He will have good chemistry with Lawrence in no time.
