Jacksonville Jaguars players as Toy Story characters
The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting ready to play overseas in London. It is going to be a spectacle to see them play in Europe once again. This has become a tradition for the Jaguars and everybody should be excited about this game.
This is going to be a chance for the Jaguars to bounce back as well. They are on a two-game losing streak which is not good at the beginning of the season when they are trying to establish themselves. At 1-2, they have some climbing to do once again.
This first of two Jaguars games in London will come against the Atlanta Falcons. This is a big game for both sides as they try to get this game won. However, there is a fun string attached to this game as well.
On a certain ESPN broadcast of this game, there will be a live animated version of the game that takes play in Andy’s Room of the Toy Story universe. That’s right, Woody and Buzz along with all their friends are going to be in attendance.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are waiting to be a part of the Toy Story party.
To celebrate, it might be fun to think of some prominent Jaguars players as Toy Story characters. This is what we came up with:
Trevor Lawrence - Woody
There is only one sheriff in Jacksonville. That is quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Like Woody, his responsibility is to lead the team to where they need to be all the time. The main character of this game will be Lawrence as he tries to get this team to a victory once again.
Calvin Ridley - Buzz Lightyear
The new guy in Andy’s room is always going to provide a spark. That is exactly what Buzz Lightyear did when he first landed on the bed in his spaceship! Partnered with Woody, Buzz is a force to be reckoned with.
Calvin Ridley is the Buzz Lightyear of this team. Fresh to the squad, he is hoping to make the same impact and help the team win. Partnered with his version of Woody (Lawrence), he hopes to do big things!
Christian Kirk - Jesse
Who is the third most important player on the Jaguars? You can argue that it is Christian Kirk. He is definitely one of the most pieces on the offense. That aligns with Jesse in Toy Story. She came in the second movie but she is certainly one of the most important characters. She can support the main people a lot.
Travis Etienne - Slinky
The Jacksonville Jaguars love someone who can be versatile. Slinky can use both ends of his body to help the crew do what they need to do. The same can be said for Travis Etienne when it comes to the Jaguars offense. He can be a receiver out of the backfield and a running back which makes him very versatile.
Josh Allen - Mr. Potato Head
Sometimes, you need a little bit of an edge. Josh Allen can certainly have that on the Jaguars defense. The Toy Story crew certainly gets that from Mr. Potato Head. He can be a bit mean sometimes but he definitely means well. That is Josh Allen for the Jaguars.
Zay Jones - Wheezy
Zay Jones is out this week with an injury. Of course, that makes him like Wheezy from Toy Story. Hopefully, he gets his squeaker (knee) fixed soon.
Doug Pederson - Andy
This is all taking place in Andy’s room. Of course, Andy is like the coach of the toys as he plays with them. That makes Doug Pederson like the Andy of the Jaguars.
Bijan Robinson - Sid
Every story needs a villain. Sid is the best villain in the entire universe. Bijan Robinson is the best player on the Atlanta Falcons who are the villain team this week. That makes him comparable to Sid. Hopefully, he can find a way to, as a famous cowboy once said, play nice.
