Jaguars LT Ezra Cleveland will be on a redemption tour in 2024

Left guard Ezra Cleveland's name doesn't pop up often when discussing the Jags' disappointments from last year but he certainly failed to live up to expectations. A second-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, the former Boise State Bronco made 49 starts, dating back to his rookie campaign before a foot sprain sidelined him in 2023. He was phased in favor of Dalton Risner and shipped to Jacksonville midseason.

When Cleveland was traded to the Jags, he was still nursing the foot injury, so he had to wait to contribute. He ultimately made six starts in 2023 but the team's brass is confident he can provide long-term stability at left guard, so they gave him a three-year deal worth $24 million in the offseason. This makes sense when you take into account that he had been a dependable player for the Vikes before he hurt his foot.

The hope is that being healthy and spending a full offseason in Jacksonville will help Cleveland put it all together in 2024.

Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell will be on a redemption tour in 2024

Tyson Campbell seemed like a star on the rise after 2022, routinely earning a spot on top-100 lists. However, a nagging hamstring injury hampered him for most of 2023. Now healthy, he's looking to solidify his spot as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.

Already, Campbell has made a strong impression on the new coaching staff. Defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen, for one, is impressed with his athleticism, noting that there's nothing the Florida native can't do. Nielsen adds that his staff has done a good job of helping the fourth-year cornerback hone his skills and will next help him operate in his scheme.
