1. New England Patriots

A new era has begun in Foxborough. After more than 20 years at the helm, Bill Belichick is no longer the head coach for the New England Patriots. He stepped away after the 2023 season and the Pats named Jerod Mayo his successor. One of the first things Mayo will need to sort out is the quarterback position.

The team seems to have lost faith in former first-round pick Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe is better suited for a backup role, so New England may look for a potential answer at the position in the draft. Once they figure out the best course of action at quarterback, they'll need to turn their attention to bolstering the offense. Their top two receivers last year, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kendrick Bourne were underwhelming.

Armed with $66 million of cap space, the Patriots could easily pursue the top wide receivers in the open market. Ridley would be the true No. 1 they've missed since probably Randy Moss. Belichick routinely preferred possession receivers who would run option routes. Ridley did that during his stint with the Atlanta Falcons but he can also stretch the field if asked to.

While Ridley is no burner, he can get deep, which could help open things up for other players in New England. Newly appointed offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt will surely want as many weapons as possible. Ridley would be among the best ones they could get their hands on in free agency.
