The Jacksonville Jaguars are about to play four divisional games in the last six weeks of the season. The first one will be against the dreaded Tennessee Titans. Although the Jags are a 6.5-point favorite, that doesn't mean they can take their AFC South rival lightly.
After all, rookie Cam Ward is getting better by the week and is coming off arguably his best outing of the year. Sure, Tennessee ended up losing to the Seattle Seahawks but flashed enough potential to make you think that he'll be the long-term answer behind center in Nashville once he figures things out.
Of course, Ward's current supporting cast leaves much to be desired, and it may not be until 2026 that he becomes a threat to Jacksonville. For the time being, the Jaguars will need to take care of business in Week 13 if they want to increase their odds of making the postseason. Working in their favor is that a couple players returned to practice after not showing up Wednesday.
The Jaguars listed Brian Thomas Jr. as full participant, Travon Walker remains out
There were many changes in the Thursday injury report. While defensive end Travon Walker (knee), right guard Patrick Mekari (concussion), and offensive lineman Chuma Edoga (calf) remain out, rookie pass rusher Danny Striggow and defensive tackle Arik Armstead got the limited designation after not participating in practice Wednesday.
The most notable tweak in the injury report, though, might've been that Brian Thomas Jr. was a full participant after missing the past three games with an ankle sprain. He was listed as limited Wednesday, but based on his latest designation, he's trending toward suiting up against the Titans.
Aside from Thomas, right tackle Anton Harrison (knee/ankle), cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck), and tight end Hunter Long (knee) were listed as full participants. On the other hand, cornerback Christian Braswell (hamstring), linebacker Yasir Abdullah (finger), safety Antonio Johnson (elbow), and safety Eric Murray (neck) got the limited tag Thursday.

Brian Thomas will have a chance to prove the Jaguars he's still an elite receiver
It's not a given that Brian Thomas Jr. will suit up against Tennessee. However, the arrow is most definitely pointing up, and he'll be able to prove that he's still the playmaker that took the league by storm as a rookie last year.
Before spraining his ankle, Thomas was having an underwhelming sophomore campaign. He had a team-worst seven drops and didn't appear to have a good rapport with Trevor Lawrence. Compounding the issue is that Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers came through during his absence.
That said, the Jaguars will welcome Thomas back in the lineup. He's still the same deep threat that gives the Jacksonville offense an element of verticality that will allow his teammates to get favorable matchups. It's possible that the time away from the football field helped him focus and get well physically and mentally. If that's the case, the passing game could go from good to great the rest of the way.
The Jaguars need to beat Titans in Week 13 to keep up in the thick of the AFC South race. Having a healthy (and focused) Brian Thomas Jr. would most definitely help.
