The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting reinforcements ahead of the divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This is great news when you take into account that they're about to enter a pivotal stretch of the season and will need all the help they can get if they want to continue to be in the thick of the race for the AFC South crown.

On the other hand, there's a chance the Jags will be without some key contributors when they play Tennessee in Week 13, based on the latest injury report.

Eric Murray is back with the Jaguars, but Travon Walker remains out

Early Wednesday, the Jaguars announced that they had opened Eric Murray's 21-day window to participate. He was back in practice, albeit with a limited designation. Head coach Liam Coen told the media that he doesn't know yet if the veteran safety will end up suiting up against the Titans.

Aside from Murray, the Jags listed wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle), linebacker Yasir Abdullah (finger), cornerback Jarrian Jones (quad), and Eric Murray (neck) as limited.

On the other hand, offensive lineman Chuma Edoga (calf) and defensive end Travon Walker (knee), edge rusher Danny Striggow, and right guard Patrick Mekari (concussion) didn't show up.

The good news is that right tackle Anton Harrison is also back and didn't get a designation Wednesday. His return will be huge for an offense that's played well the past two weeks. With Mekari potentially missing the Tennessee game, Cole Van Lanen could fill in for him at right guard.

Jourdan Lewis also practiced without restrictions Wednesday. He'll give Jacksonville depth and flexibility at corner, especially if Braswell doesn't play against Tennessee. Tight end Hunter Longer also got the full designation and could return to the lineup after missing the past two games. Below is the report.

The Jaguars will likely need to beat the Titans without Travon Walker

The fact that the Jaguars haven't placed Travon Walker on Injured Reserve may be a sign that his injury may not be that serious. Then again, he's yet to return to practice, and that's a reason for concern. Perhaps, though, the Jaguars want to rush the former Georgia Bulldog back on the field and expose him to further injury. If that's the case, they're better off bringing him along slowly.

If Walker and rookie Danny Striggow ultimately miss the Titans game, and there's a strong chance they will, the trio of rookie B.J. Green II, Dawuane Smoot, and Emmanuel Ogbah could see an uptick in snaps in the rotation.

It's also important to point out that the Jags are about to embark on what could be the most important stretch of the season, so the best course of action will be to let players heal before they return.

The Jaguars are 7-4 and one game behind the Indianapolis Colts. Beating the Titans would allow them to solidify their odds of qualifying for the postseason. But they'll probably have to do it without Travon Walker and Danny Striggow.
