The Jacksonville Jaguars managed to survive the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5, winning 19-17 despite the fact that they shot themselves in the foot countless times. Next on their schedule is a familiar foe in the Houston Texans.

Although the Texans are coming off their first win of the season, they're not throwing in the towel just yet. Their trade for wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. not long after they defeated the hapless Tennessee Titans is proof of it. A win in Week 6 could allow Houston to get back in the AFC South race, so the Jags need to stall whatever momentum their divisional rival has going into the game.

Working in the Jags' favor is that they're learning to win close games and have more than enough talent on both sides of the ball to come out on top, even though they could be without a handful of players for their second London game. With this in mind, here's what you need to know for this Week 6 AFC South showdown.

Injury report for the Texans vs. the Jaguars in Week 6

The Jaguars already ruled out cornerback Montaric Brown (hamstring) but will be getting safety Eric Murray back after he cleared concussion protocol. Cornerback Jaylon Jones could also miss the game (hamstring), but Jarrian Jones (elbow) and Jourdan Lewis (hamstring) will be available in Week 6 even though they popped up on the injury report in the days preceding the game. Ditto, offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon (toe), and rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher (back).

Without Brown, though, the Jags will need depth at cornerback. This is why they promoted cornerback Jabbar Muhammad to the active roster via standard elevation. Same with long-snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer, who'll fill in for Ross Matisick, who's dealing with a shoulder injury.

On the Texans' sideline, Houston has already ruled out running back David Montgomery, safety Jalen Pitre, and wide receiver Tank Dell have been ruled out. On the other hand, linebacker Henry To'oto'o is expected to play.
