There could be a world where the Jacksonville Jaguars only give up one pick.

DeAndre Hopkins is someone that could really help the Jacksonville Jaguars grow their game in 2023 and beyond. They are getting better with every passing day because Trevor Lawrence is becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League.

Adding a stud wide receiver like Hopkins would be somewhat of a risk because you’d be giving up assets for a guy that wasn’t on the field a lot in 2022. However, we know the impact he can have when he is on the field, especially for a young up-and-coming team.

Trevor Lawrence would be a better quarterback if he added a receiver like this (or someone like him). There are plenty of good ones out there but they might be able to buy low on Hopkins this off-season as the Arizona Cardinals might be off-loading this spring summer.

Giving up one second-round pick for him might actually be on the pricy side when it comes to what he is worth. However, if the Jaguars decide that he is worth trading for during the off-season, they might want to think about beating some other teams to him.

It might really help them. The schedule is going to be very difficult for the Jaguars as they will be playing a first-place group of teams in the AFC. Having DeAndre Hopkins available for games against the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, and Kansas City Chiefs would be great.
