Working on their defense could be the Jacksonville Jaguars mindset this year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars obviously are growing their offense. They want to make sure that things are strong for Trevor Lawrence as he continues his development as a National Football League quarterback. The future of the organization starts and ends with him.

However, they still need to make sure that their defense is good if they want to take advantage of Trevor Lawrence’s greatness. If they don’t continue to build on all of the good that their defense has created in the last year, adding more talent would really help.

Kelee Ringo was awesome for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2022. He is a cornerback that is considered to be a top ten draft eligible prospect right now. However, team needs are going to make him fall until the later stages of the first round as some skilled offensive players might be seen as a higher priority for some.

If he is there when the Jaguars come up to pick in the early 20s (assuming that is where they end up selecting), they should really consider this guy.

He’d be able to come in and make an impact right away with his ability to cover great receivers and make big plays. He was a big time contributor to Georgia’s undefeated season and all of that experience and confidence should carry over with him into the NFL.
