Darnell Washington would be great for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the future.

The Georgia offense was outstanding at spreading the ball around on offense. Quarterback Stetson Bennett was outstanding at moving the ball to different receivers in addition to being very mobile. He also utilized a running game using backs as well as anyone in college football.

One player who was great in that offense was Darnell Washington. He is a tight end that could be taken anywhere in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. If the Jaguars are picking in the late 40s of the second round, he is someone that they should really consider for a variety of reasons.

Of course, you can’t surround Trevor Lawrence with enough talent. Adding a big tight end with a pedigree like this would be a great help. If he came in and played to his potential right away, that would make Trevor’s life soo much easier as he continues to develop.

In the National Championship, he only had one reception but it was a huge gain of 28 yards. Having a guy who can make plays like that obviously opens things up for the rest of the players on the offense. Seeing him bring that to the NFL would be amazing if it was with the Jaguars.
