4. The Jaguars will keep RB Jonathan Taylor under 100 yards rushing

Running back Jonathan Taylor is the quintessential workhorse. Give him the ball and watch him get five yards or more. Of course, it’s not as simple as that but the Colts know they have a dependable running back that can wear defenses down.

Against the Houston Texans in Week 1, Taylor toted the rock 31 times for 161 yards, and last year, he topped 100 rushing yards ten times, so it’s fair to say that good things happen when you give him the ball. However, one of the times he didn’t hit the mark was — you guessed it — against the Jags in the season finale when he only logged 77 yards.

The Jags will once again find a way to contain Taylor and limit the impact he has, which will in turn translate into their first win of the year.

3. Jaguars WR Christian Kirk and Zay Jones will score a TD each

The Jaguars for the most part did a good job of moving the ball against the Commanders. However, things stalled once they got to the red zone, as they had to either settle for a field goal or come empty-handed. But things will be different against the Colts.

Christian Kirk will once again register more than 100 receiving yards but he will also take a trip to the end zone. Zay Jones will follow suit and will also log his first 100-yard game and his first touchdown as a Jaguar.
