The Jacksonville Jaguars reduced their roster to 53-man Tuesday. Even though they will continue to make moves in the upcoming days, you won’t see many moves of the blockbuster variety. In fact, the team’s brass did a good job of replenishing most position groups in the offseason, so they don’t have many pressing needs ahead of Week 1 of the regular season.
Sure, the Jags will look at the waiver wire and will probably drop a few players and sign others to take their place before the season opener but don’t expect any surprises. For the time being, here’s how their 53-man roster looks after final cutdown day.

Running backs (3): James Robinson, Travis Etienne, Snoop Conner.

One thing that stands out is that the Jaguars are currently carrying two kickers. Head coach Doug Pederson told the media Tuesday that there’s an ongoing battle at the position and says the team wants to take a smart approach.
“We still got a little bit of time before we play a meaningful game”, Pederson said. “But we understand it’s important and we’re going to make that decision smartly. Could actually go on next week”.
