No. 4 player the Jaguars can trade for in 2022- Andre Dillard, OT.

Here’s one low-risk, high-reward trade the Jaguars could be interested in making. Back when the Philadelphia Eagles made Andre Dillard the 22nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, they probably expected him to eventually succeed future Hall-of-Famer tackle Jason Peter at left tackle and become a mainstay of their offensive line for years to come. But things didn’t work out that way, and Dillard’s future in Philadelphia may be in question with Jordan Mailata firmly entrenched at left tackle.

Dillard’s hasn’t played much over the last three years, making just nine starts and missing the 2020 season with a bicep injury. Barring injury to Mailata, he won’t see the field much, so the Eagles’ brass may want to see what kind of compensation they could get for him. After all, he was a first-round pick for a reason and could benefit from a change of scenery. That’s where the Jaguars come in.

Doug Pederson was the head coach of the Eagles when they drafted Dilland and he knows firsthand his strengths and weaknesses. While he shouldn’t be counted on as a starter he could provide solid depth up front at an affordable rate, probably in exchange for a late-round selection in the draft.

Philadelphia wouldn’t get any room space by releasing Dillard but if they aren’t planning to give him a contract extension, they could be better off trading him this offseason and getting something in return for him.

Next. Jaguars, 3-round, post-combine mock draft. dark
