Here’s an early look at the Jaguars’ away games in the 2022 season.

1. Jaguars @ Texans. The Jaguars had a legitimate shot to Houston in Week 15 but ultimately lost 30-16. Also, the Texans were the Texans were the better team last season. Expect them to split the series in 2022.

2. Jaguars @ Colts. TIAA Bank Field is the Colts’ kryptonite but they can easily beat the Jaguars in a neutral field. That’s why it’s hard to envision them losing at Lucas Oil Stadium.

3. Jaguars @ Titans. Tennesee has been the cream of the crop in the AFC South for the last two years. Even though they weren’t at full strength in 2021, they had no trouble shutting down the Jaguars in Week 14 and defeating them at home in Week 5. It doesn’t look like things will change in 2022. Having said that, Trevor Lawrence and the Jags will make the Titans earn this one.

4. Jaguars @ Lions. Detroit will play hard for head coach Dan Campbell but their roster is in worse shape than the Jags. At least Jacksonville has their quarterback of the future in Trevor Lawrence. He should help the Jaguars win when they meet in 2022.

5. Jaguars @ Jets. Just like Manning vs. Brady was a thing back in the 2000s, the league will try to promote this matchup as Lawrence vs. Wilson II. The Jets won their last encounter and their rebuild has been faster but the Jags will catch up with the Gang Green and beat them in 2022.
