2. CB Shaquill Griffin will log his first interception with the Jaguars.

General manager Trent Baalke hasn’t done a good job of acquiring talent during his tenure in Jacksonville but he did sign cornerback Shaquill Griffin last offseason. The 2019 Pro Bowl nod has become a mainstay in the Jags’ secondary and has become a respected leader in the locker room.

Griffin has done traveling with opposing number one wide receivers this season and has allowed a career-low three touchdown receptions. On the other hand, he doesn’t have any takeaways. He’s come close to snagging a few interceptions but hasn’t managed to come down with one. He will finish the job Sunday and intercept Colts quarterback Carson Wentz.

3. Jaguars OLB Josh Allen will register 3 sacks in Week 18.

Jaguars outside linebacker Josh Allen was one of the most dominant defenders in the NFL in the middle of the 2021 season. In particular, his Week 9 performance against the Buffalo Bills got him the national spotlight. However, he’s cooled down a bit since then and hasn’t made as many big plays over the last few weeks.

Just like his teammates, Allen will be motivated to end the season on a strong note and will register a season-high three sacks. He hasn’t had one since Week 9 and has had just one multi-sack game once in the 2021 season but he will try to play spoilers Sunday and knock the Colts out of playoff contention.
