2. Jaguars safety Andre Cisco will snag his first career INT vs. the Jets.

Safety Andre Cisco’s path to the starting lineup was a rough one after Andrew Wingard was named the starter opposite Rayshawn Jenkins. Although the rookie out of Syracuse saw a few defensive snaps in the first two weeks of the season, his playing time decreased considerably, and was mostly relegated to special teams. That will change now that Jenkins is out for the year with a broken ankle.

It’s unfortunate that Cisco will only get more playing time because someone else suffered an injury but that’s the reality of playing such as physical sport as football. Now, Daniel Thomas could get the starting nod but Cisco should get plenty of work even then. He will take advantage of that opportunity and will register his first career interception.

3. The Jaguars’ defense will force two fumbles in Week 16.

The Jaguars have had difficulties registering turnovers this season. They’ve only forced five fumbles and logged seven interceptions. It’s true that the offense has held the team back but the defense needs to do their part too. They’ll do it in Week 16.

Linebackers Myles Jack and Daniel Wilson will both register a forced fumble. It would be the first one this season for either defender. The two fumbles and the interception would give the Jags a total of three takeaways.
